More on Microsoft

During a panel discussion on Webconferencing, Andrew Davis said the various panel members (Sonexis, Spectel, Polycom, FVC) could be in trouble whether Microsoft succeeds or fails. If they succeed, those with competing products will fail. If Microsoft fails miserably, as they did with NetMeeting, it could poison the market as a whole, killing the competition in the process.
Of course, the Microsoft solution is still limited with mostly point-to-point conferences involving audio and data. There's no multipoint capability and no video, so the rest of the competition should be able to keep ahead of the raging bull.
