Sonexis adds wideband audio

Sonexis is adding support for wideband phones to its ConferenceManager audio/web conferencing system. The new version, ConferenceManager WB, will be able to support both wideband and traditional phones in the same call. The new release also leverages SIP for VoIP-based phones. Wideband phones use a larger frequency range, providing a more realistic sound than a regular phone. Sonexis says ConferenceManagerWB will be available in the third quarter. Existing customers can upgrade equipment via a software download.
