Does the EU ruling help Real?

RealNetworks CEO Rob Glaser says the recent European Union anti-trust ruling against Microsoft will help his company win its private lawsuit against the Redmond, Wash. software giant. Real, you may recall, is claiming foul over Microsoft's tactics regarding its Windows Media Player and the fact that its bundled free with all versions of Windows. (Why would you pay for a Real player when you get Microsoft's for free?) The EU's anti-trust ruling had to do with media player technology, so Glaser's lawyers believe this will help them win their court case here in the U.S.
