Polycom unveils SoundStation 2

SoundStation2The ubiquitous triangle-shaped speaker phone found on many conference room tables is getting a makeover. Polycom today began shipping SoundStation 2, featuring 50% improved microphone sensitivity; an improved LCD for showing number dialed, call duration, caller ID and other information; and, multiple language support. There's also a contact book that can hold 25 entries. SoundStation2 is $599 (suggested price). Polycom shipped the first SoundStation in 1992.
