ItsActive adds video blogging service

By Jason Meserve, NetworkWorld.com, 04/04/05

Want the world to see your face as your give your opinion on matters of the day? Broadband Video as added video blogging capability to ItsActive.com, allowing wouldbe news anchors to record themselves using a Web cam and edit the resulting video with tools provided by the service. ItsActive charges about $5 a clip and says its compatibile with most RSS and XML feeds.

Personally, I don't see the benefit of video blogging on a regular basis. I saw a post somewhere today that sums up my thoughts exactly, but naturally I can't find it now. It goes along the line of: I listen to audio while doing other things, video requires attention on the screen and limits multitasking. And, do I really need to see your head as you give me some random opinion? No.
