Starbak integrates product line

Starbak Communications made some interesting news this week with the release of Starbak INV (Integrated Network Video), a new suite of appliances and applications designed for capture, management and delivery of video. Previously, Starbak had offered a number of point products for each task in the video life cycle, but now they're bring it all together under one umbrella. Everything from capture setup, to content management and delivery options can be set through a Web based interface. INV also integrates with LDAP and Active Directory services for user authentication and role definition. Starbak is pitching this toward larger enterprise customers, with INV priced around $50,000.
