Giving Audacity a try

Finally got around to giving Audacity, the free audio editing tool, a try. I was surprised at the number of effects and processing options that come with the tool. Everything I can do in Sound Forge 4.5 XP I could do with Audacity. I really like the multi-track editing capability offered by the tool. The one downside: It's noticeably slower in processing volume changes and the like than Sound Forge. But, hey, you can't beat the price.
