Apple's $1000 FinalCut Pro non-linear digital video editing system has won an Emmy Award. I've never used FinalCut Pro because I only have Windows PCs at my disposal, but I've heard wonderful things about the product. Most TV-quality editing systems go for $50,000, so this is a big win for the little guy.
It's Apple's second Emmy and will go on the shelf along side the company's Grammy Award. Apple's previous Emmy was for its FireWire technology.
