Missed this one yesterday: Major League Baseball debuted a live video stream of a game between the New York Yankees and Texas Rangers. The video is archived now, but did anyone get to see it live?
A press release from MLB.com says it was sent out at 300K bit/sec, which should have been good enough to watch baseball at your desk while you, er, work. Of course, a heavy user load could have degraded the quality. MLB currently offers all audio (home and away) broadcasts of each game for a fee and video is the next logical step.
