Showing the pictures of your family in your wallet is so yesterday. Pictavision, a new offering from online photo house dotPhoto, lets users show off pictures using a cell phone enabled with Qualcomm's Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless (BREW) platform.

An unlimited number of photos can be stored in an online Pictavision account and accessed wirelessly from anywhere you can get a digital signal on your phone. The company is currently in tests with Verizon Wireless.

I have Pictavision on my Motorola T720 and love it. I can access all my pictures stored on dotPhoto's site and with a push of a button show them to friends and family. Since I carry my cell phone all the time I don't have to carry bulky 4 x 6 pictures around with me when visiting or meeting family. I can show them the latest pictures of my kids and then order prints if they would like one.

Everyone with kids should use this application.
