Optibase is launching a new server designed specifically to encode and stream the Windows Media format. The MGW 2400 can compress and stream up to 6 simultaneous broadcasts and supports both unicast and multicast capabilities. The official announcement (warning: press release) is being made this weekend at the International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam.
