Network World Fusion 09/24/02

RealNetworks released the gold version of its RealOne version 2.0 multimedia player. Based on the company's Helix Platform, the player supports 50 different media formats, including the competing Windows Media format (* - if you have Windows Media Player already installed). Other features and improvements include integrated support for the new SonicBlue Rio S10 and S30S MP3 players and CD ripping defaulted to 192K bit/sec MP3 for RealOne Player Plus users and RealOne SuperPass subscribers.
