This was too good to pass up when I saw it on Business Wire yesterday: DateCam.com brings the world of streaming together with a dating service, allowing perspective matches to see each other in action live on the Web. Paying customers ($24.95/month) can meet with potential matches in chat room and share up to 15 hours of live video in an effort to see if the computer-made match is one that was made in heaven or hell:

Forget about polished pictures with no hint of a true personality -- DateCam is the destination for a quality, direct dating experience through the use of real-time video to really meet your match.

The best part about the site is the random live camera feed on the front page. Does this disprove the adage that you don't really know a person until you live with them?
