Virus deletes multimedia files

Panda Software is warning of a virus that attacks multimedia files:

VBS/Pheme carries out dangerous actions, as it replaces files with MP2, MP3, MPG, MPE, MPEG, AVI and MOV extensions with copies of itself. In addition, VBS/Pheme infects files with VBS extension by adding its code at the end of these files.

Fortunately, the company has not had any reports of the virus "in the wild" yet.
