Rogue MP3 and Windows Media Audio files are the latest headache for Microsoft Windows users. Vulnerabilities in WinAmp for Windows and Windows XP can be exploited using malicious code attached to standard MP3 and WMA files. WinAmp users can protect themselves by using version 2.81 or 3.0, while Windows XP users should download and install a patch for their systems.
