Face2face adds QuickTime 6 plug-in

Facial animation shop face2face has added MPEG-4 support via a plug-in for Apple's QuickTime 6. The plug-in allows animated characters to be streamed at 30fps with perfect lip synch at low bandwidths - down to 14.4K bits/sec, according to a statement from the company. Supporting MPEG-4 helps push the technology across multiple platforms, not just those served by Windows Media or Real.
