Playboy added to RealNetworks line up

In effort to boost subscriptions, RealNetworks has added Playboy to its menu of content for consumers. Users can pay a seperate $24.95 a month fee for the adult content from Playboy TV Club. Those wanting to subscribe do not need to be RealOne SuperPass members.

This latest deal pushes RealNetworks further down the road to becoming an online cable TV provider and away from a software company.
