First it was the browser wars and then more recently, the battle of media players. Now, the numbers game is coming to a new battle field: music downloads. RealNetworks announced its streaming numbers grew 30% in the month of September with 21 million songs served. With iTunes, MusicMatch, BuyMusic, the new Napster and others all gunning for users, expect a deluge of "we streamed more than you" announcements from these companies.
