Looks like my entry from yesterday about the Windows Media on iPod rumor may be a bit premature, according to this blurb from Geek.com. The author's assertion of AAC vs. Windows Media is the new VHS vs. Beta is right, but at least it's more practical to build a player that supports both codecs than it was to build a VCR to play both tapes.
