Another way to stream radio

Network World Fusion 09/22/04

Last year, I wrote about our experiment to get AM radio coverage in our building. Here's another take at the same issue, this time using Replay Radio. It's more time-delayed than our approach, but gets past the "no streaming" mandate from IS. Our own example should pass muster on no streaming as well. We stay behind the firewall and off the WAN connection, so we're not saturating the T-1 connection. And, a handful of users listening to a 16K bit/sec broadcast shouldn't put a dent in our 100M bit/sec network.
