Network World Fusion 09/24/04

Netflix and Warner Bros are in talks to pilot a movie-on-demand system that would allow customers to download movies and watch them at home, rather than going to video store or waiting for the DVD in the mail. This is good news for TiVo owners who were beginning to get skeptical over the rumored Netflix-TiVo partnership. TiVo would be one of the obvious choices for download/store/view device since it's pretty much got that capability already. We're looking forward to such an offering, especially since we just ordered the 3M bit/sec Verizon DSL service.
