HP Claims - I'm Curious

Network World Fusion 04/14/04

HP sent me a note touting their new focus on small businesses, this time about their iPAQ Pocket PC. Here's their claim:

For example, a home services company using HP iPAQ Pocket PC's with
wireless networking has cut down 75% of billing and other administrative
tasks for 3 people -- saving the company more than $10,000 a month.

I asked, politely and with restraint I believe, how they figured a $10,000 savings per month. Did this company actually NOT SPEND the cash? If that's the case, I'm excited to speak with them.

When I hear back from HP I'll let you know the situation.

James
