We all love, and hate, computers, and since I'm writing this and you're reading it, we love and hate them more than most. But why are politicians rushing toward electronic voting machines when so many computer experts are warning them of the dangers?
Latest mess is in, guess where, Florida. Even USA Today, not the most critical journalistic establishment, is giving the state a hard time about the voting machines here in this article.
Do I know computers? I think so. Do I trust computers? Not particularly. Do I trust an electronic voting machine of the current generation to provide an honest election? Nope.
