I got a nice e-mail from Comcast the other day telling me about my new upgraded cable Internet speed. I ran a test or two at DSL Reports on their Tests page, and I do now have about 4mbps downstream speed, and 384kbps upstream speed (up from 3/256).
Now my cable Internet access is up, and my DSL access bumped up (at least the upstream speed) last week. Makes you wonder if there's something in the service provider water fountain lately.
I think you should call your service provider and ask when your speed will increase. Tell'em I told you to call and harass them because they're running behind both Comcast and SBC. If you have service from either of those, ask why you haven't gotten your speed increase.
