SBC Slashes Prices to Match VoIP Lines

Here's what SBC said to small businesses in an e-mail the other day:
Get unlimited local, local toll and nationwide long distance for $48.95 per month on your first line. Click here for more details.

This is aimed at customers with 1-10 lines.

That price is within a couple of dollars of most business VoIP offerings aimed at the same customers. Sound great? The gotchas: you sign a year-long contract, and the long distance rates go back to market pricing in a year. And the free long distance only covers US calls if I remember correctly, unlike VoIP services which include Canada under the "free long distance" umbrella.
