Data storage products specifically focused on Microsoft applications are growing in the enterprise as more businesses rely on Exchange and SQL Server to run their operations. Among them are Mimosa Systems, who markets continuous data protection software for Microsoft Exchange, and Idera, which has backup and recovery and compliance software for SQL Server.
Microsoft's offerings too have focused on storage in the past several years. The company offers not only its Microsoft Storage Server 2003, but continuous data protection software of its own.
