Great videos from some of the industry's best minds

Dear Vorticians,
File this one under Gifts: Forgotten.
At Vortex 2005, in late October, we videotaped a number of five-minute Hot Seat interviews with some of our top speakers so we could share their wisdom with friends who couldn't make the event. We started posting those interviews, as well as the 30-minute opening keynote by Vortex co-executive producer Geoffrey Moore, on the Network World Web site at the close of the year and I've been meaning ever since to alert you to these great resources.
You can access the Network World video library here, and this is what you'll find in a Vortex vein:
* Geoff's keynote on innovation, ripped from the pages of his new book "Dealing with Darwin," which you can learn more about at Amazon.com. This presentation set the stage for our discussions with CIOs and tech industry executives, who shared their thoughts about innovating and aligning resources with business opportunities. There's also a five-minute Hot Seat with Geoff on the key themes of Darwin.
* An interview with Matthew Szulik, CEO of Red Hat, about the Linux leader's strategy and his views on the future of open source.
* Sun CTO Greg Papadopolous talks about why the IT industry has become so much more exciting these days and how changes in the enterprise will vault Sun back into prominence.
* Intel's chief strategist Chris Thomas discusses the empowering force of wireless and the ROI of mobility.
* Vortex attendees prognosticate on what's ahead in 2006.
Now, along with all these Vortex videos, you can also watch other Hot Seat interviews with leaders from companies like Bit9, Acopia, DataPower (since acquired by IBM) and Egenera, and conversations with thought leaders like Howard Anderson, Jeff Kaplan and Curt Monash. You'll also enjoy the Cool Tools videos with host Keith Shaw (particularly when Keith dances).
My apologies for the delay. Enjoy!
Bye for now.
