Another CLEC struggles
NetworkWorld.com, 12/15/05
No one ever said life as a CLEC would be easy. Just ask DSL.net. The self-described "leading
nationwide provider of broadband communications services to businesses" is now getting dumped by the American Stock Exchange for having too low of a stock price.
The New Haven, Conn., company earlier this month announced it was selling off a subsidiary, part of an effort to boost the carrier's fortunes. For more details on DSL.net's situation, see this piece in Mass High Tech. Not that CLECs are giving up, as seen in this recent Network World story on how these carriers are trying to survive.
