Sprint launches SLAs for Global MPLS VPN service
NetworkWorld.com, 04/27/06
Sprint announced today that it is now offering a router-to-router standard service level agreement (SLA) for its Global MPLS VPN service customers.
The carrier says it is offering a standard SLA for its Global MPLS VPN service, which Sprint launched two years ago.
The SLA gurantees 100% network availability, minimum packet loss, jitter and delay from router-to-router over a customer’s local loop connections.
Sprint also says it plans to expand the geographic reach of its global MPLS network to 163 countries by yearend. The carrier’s MPLS backbone reaches 115 countries today.
