Looking to get the most out of your telecom spend? Who isn’t these days?
And that’s the focus of the 3rd Annual Summit on Telecom Expense Management in Washington, D.C. on Thursday. The summit is hosted by Telecom Expense Management (TEM) company Rivermine Software , but attendees can expect to hear more about TEM from other industry experts.
Topics that are scheduled to be discussed include getting the most out of your wireless service spend, best practices outlined by Reed McGoldrick, a vice president at Fidelity Investments, a user panel discussion looking at realizing the best results using TEM tools, using analytical reports to your advantage, an analyst from Accenture will discuss the future of TEM and there will be a panel discussion looking at the impact of carrier mergers.
There will be Rivermine speakers, but it appears to be a well-balanced schedule. Additional speakers include Phil Redman from Gartner, Larry Van Etten from Ikon Office Solutions, Rob Ingalls from Sodexho and Mark Chodoronek from Verizon Business.
Unfortunately Rivermine’s Web site says the event is sold out. But you can check back here later next week for a recap of the day’s events. We’ll be there to hear what folks are saying about reducing your telecom costs.
And for a look at our recent coverage of TEM tools and services check out this page.

Hi, my name is David Hopper, CEO of Auditmacs.com. I have been doing IT Telephony Expense and Inventory Management successfully for many years. There are many facets to TEM involving inventory, contract management, wireless management, validation, collaboration, process automation, business process outsourcing, business intelligence, and much much more. All are very important. There are many great software tools available like Rivermine, Anchorpoint, Tangoe, Auditmacs, and more. The more I work with large enterprises, the more I realize that regardless of the technology and regardless of software, it still comes down to people. Intelligent, thoughtful, responsive, talented people that you can trust makes all the difference in Telecom Expense management.
