Here are the results in full of our second-annual survey of what concerns you most, ranked by mean concern. We surveyed 100 network executives from large companies to rate their concerns using a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 equaling "most concerned." With the help of market research firm Research Concepts, we queried 45 specific topics. In the charts below, each topic falls into one of four categories.

   Issue

Your top concerns

These nine issues topped the ratings in Network World's second-annual Top Concerns survey. The mean reflects a 1-10 scale, with 1 equaling "not concerned" and 10 "most concerned." Still, you were less concerned this year than last on all these but one, security.
