Windows 8, Windows Server 8, HTML5, touch PCs topics at Microsoft BUILD

BUILD to come at you via blogs, livestream, Twitter, Facebook

Microsoft's first annual BUILD conference starts Tuesday with a live Webcast of the keynote by Steven Sinofsky, president of Microsoft's Windows and Windows Live division at 9 a.m. pacific.

We'll be covering the news from BUILD here on Microsoft Subnet with bloggers Andy Patrizio and Tom Henderson on location at the show.

This is Microsoft's first annual BUILD conference. At first, people thought BUILD was yet another, new conference for developers, but it is actually the retooling of the Professional Developer Conference (PDC), and the Windows Hardware Engineering (WinHEC) conference in a new combined format.

While much of the media has been focused on what the Windows 8 client will look at, Microsoft will also be detailing Windows 8 Server, as the two continue to be on married development and release tracks.

In addition to the analysis we'll post here at Network World, here's a list of methods where you can keep one virtual ear on the conference Here's a list compiled by the Microsoft SMS&P Partner Community blog:

If you have a WP7 phone, there is also the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app which will stream and access BUILD info from all the above sites.

What's the one place you won't find Microsoft-generated BUILD info? Google+, of course.
