Video: Watch Anonymous spokesman Barrett Brown get arrested

Barrett Brown was raided for the second time this year on Wednesday night, and it just happened to occur while he was engaged in a video chat session. Anonymous has confirmed that Brown is in the custody of the FBI.

So-called Anonymous spokesman Barrett Brown was arrested during a live video chat session with cohorts from the hacking collective on Wednesday night. Via Twitter, Anonymous has confirmed the arrest and claims Brown has been handed over to the FBI.

At the 1:31 mark of the video below, Dallas police can be heard storming into the room where Brown was broadcasting. Brown had shortly before moved away from the computer, but can be heard amid the police officers' orders. A woman who was sitting in front of his computer quickly closes the laptop. Many of those who witnessed the raid via chat were under the impression it was a hoax, or even a prank undertaken by Brown himself.

Anonymous claims Brown was arrested for threatening a federal agent, as a result of this YouTube video in which Brown declares he's going to "destory FBI agent Robert Smith." In the video, Brown explains that his personal vendetta with Smith and the FBI is the result of arrest threats against his mother.

It's the second raid on Brown this year, following the FBI's investigation in April of Anonymous' attacks on Sony and HBGary Federal, among others.
