Two more reasons why your computer sucks (Video)

Program misalignment and redundant installs can hamper PC performance

In February, I wrote a blog entry discussing why most computers end up sucking after two or more years. One of my sources for that article was iolo, and I caught up with them at this week's Pepcom Holiday Spectacular. It turns out they've discovered two more PC system slowdown causes: program misalignment and redundant software installations. Watch the video that describes the issues.

Fortunately, the company's new System Mechanic 10 utility (coming at the end of September) will address these issues, as well as other PC slowdown problems (other than hardware or malware/viruses).
