Time to Move On - The End of Regular Blogging

I've Lost the Motivation to Regularly Blog

Despite my proclamation that, now that I finished the MBA, I was back to blogging, the truth is, I've lost the motivation to blog each week. It takes 2-3 hours to write a good blog and, while that is not much time each week, after work, kids, (and some more work), I really prefer to read, watch TV, and golf. It's surprising that once I finished school, work filled in a lot of the free time. So, I'm stopping regularly blogging. I might drop in from time to time to write about something that interests me. I'm still working in networking, Cisco, and IT so I will share some thoughts from time-to-time. I wanted to thank the Network World staff for supporting my blogging (good and bad) for the past nearly 4 years, particularly Julie Bort, our Cisco Subnet Editor. It's been a heck of a run. I've written around 210 blogs in the past 4 years, starting with this one back on July 4th, 2007. Good luck to all of you out there and thank you for reading my blog over the years. I've had a great time and learned a lot.
