Cisco plans to make a "major technology announcement" on March 9 that the company claims will "forever change the Internet and its impact on consumers, businesses and governments." Here's a teaser for it on the Cisco Web site.
Our guess? The MSC120 upgrade for the CRS-1 core router, perhaps with 100 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces that have been trialed at Comcast for almost two years.
