RARE-TECH is backup and running

So in between the blogging, my Windows 7 article, Exchange Fast Recovery Series and the latest book I am tech editing on Windows scripting. I finally found the time to deal with my website http://rare-tech.net Now I am not one to give up that easy on things, and I write a column about tools for "A Better Windows World". So I have decided not to leave the Office Live hosting site, but rather I will continue to look for an editing tool that will work. I think it is a fair tradeoff since I am certain some of my readers are SMB's with a site hosted on the Office Live service. So for them I will continue to search and work on getting this right. Of course the only recourse I have (for now) is to use the Office Live editing tool. It limits my design options and it meant that I needed to copy and paste all the text from my pages designed on Expressions Web and Coffeee Cup HTML Editor. The cookie cutter deigns and limited text options leaves the site looking less exciting than I really like but it is up and I will continue to update the newest articles, speaking engagements and books I am working on in the coming week. So the saga continues and Office Live has won the battle, but not the war! Stay tuned for the next chapter when I get a thrid party tool that works or just give up and move my site(KIDDING). In the mean time for fun I will keep a tally of links for the web editing tools that work great...Just not on Office live! I'll call it Web editing tools tried on Office Live look for it at the end of my posts.
