Cisco has agreed to pay a $5.45 million settlement to Infra-Comm, the VAR that successfully sued Cisco for snatching a $5 million opportunity away from the reseller and turning it over to AT&T. The networking giant Tuesday signed the document agreeing to pay the settlement, according to a report in ChannelWeb.
In October, the former Cisco reseller was awarded damages in the suit against Cisco, which had also sued Infra-Comm for harming Cisco's business and misuing its brand name.
In a statement, Cisco said: "Cisco has reached a settlement with Infra-Comm, and we look forward to putting this matter behind us. As always, we remain committed to the success of our channel partners and are proud of our award-winning channel programs."
