Simple workaround for a huge problem with Oracle applications

I wrote back in September of my tortuous dealings with a large customer that uses both Firefox and Oracle applications internally and couldn't get them to play together.  Well, today I was dealing with another large customers' supplier portal, and having all sorts of difficulties.  Eventually I figured out it was an Oracle application portal. Aha! I switched to IE Tab in Firefox. Still not good enough. I switched to IE itself, and I finally was able to arrange to get paid (I presume!).

Folks, if you use Oracle applications, warn people that they HAVE to use Internet Explorer! In particular, you will save a lot of support calls if, when you tell any kind of external stakeholder to use your portal, that they only should try to access it vs. IE.

And I don't know how Oracle app shops do business with Mac users ...
