SharePoint Workspace 2010 ... Groove's new name

When Microsoft releases the new version of Groove, it will be changing its name from Microsoft Office Groove 2007 to SharePoint Workspace 2010. (Say that new name three times fast, I dare you.) Microsoft has mapped Groove to SharePoint before, saying that Groove is to SharePoint what Outlook is to Exchange.

Not only will Groove get a new name that identifies it as part of the SharePoint team, but in its Workspace 2010 form it will also get new features that Microsoft says will make it easier to deploy and manage. Tidbits on exactly what to expect from the next version of Groove are hard to come by, but we'll poke around and keep you posted.
