Screenshots of Google Chrome OS emerge, are they real or fake?

This peek at Google Chrome OS has been circulating on the Web

Although Google's new operating system, Chrome OS, is not expected until 2010, screen shots that purport to show it off are ciculating on the Web today. The jury is split as to whether these are real or not. Some bloggers have pointed out that they seem to be taken on an old CRT monitor. (Would employees working on Google's latest, greatest thing be using a CRT.) Others have said that they seem legit, based on the simple design that borrows from the Mac OS X dock concept.

Here they are for you to ponder.
