Google CEO: Microsoft bad for the Internet

With no love lost between Microsoft and Google, Google's CEO Eric Schmidt said Monday that a combined Microsoft/Yahooo

 would be bad news for the Internet, arguing that the free flow of information on the Internet would be jeopardized, according to a report by Reuters. The news agency quotes Schmidt as telling reporters: "We would be concerned by any kind of acquisition of Yahoo by Microsoft. We would hope that anything they did would be consistent with the openness of the Internet, but I doubt it would be."
