Danger-Could It Mean An iZune?

Microsoft completed the acquisition of Danger, the cool consumer cell phone software company behind the popular Danger devices. Danger is now part of the Premium Mobile Experience (PMX) group within Microsoft's Mobile Communications Business (MCB).

Danger made its mark in the text messaging crazed uth market where iPods are also extremely popular. Danger also made Internet access easy and fun. At a minimum I'd expect a Danger type consumer phone OS from Microsoft, or at least a good extreme makeover of Windows Mobile for the consumer market.

But is an iZune in our future? That would be an interesting consumer play for Microsoft with the addition of Danger's success in the consumer market.
