CCIE pay in the U.K. down slightly

If you're wondering whether the pay is better for CCIEs elsewhere in the world, here's an interesting

snippet about CCIE salaries in the United Kingdom, as reported on ITJobsWatch (via CiscoTips). CCIEs in the United Kingdom enjoy an average salary of 55,000 GBP (about $96,000), but that's a decrease of 4.28% in the same period last year. According to some of the CCIE jobs advertised on ITJobsWatch, successful applicants can expect compensation that includes a salary of 60,000 GBP, a company car/allowance, bonus and benefits.

How does that compare with CCIE salaries in your neck of the woods?
