Small Service Providers Give VoIP a Bad Name

The SunRocket woes continue with Teleblend, one of the providers that purchased the list from the SunRocket receivers. According to PC Mag:

Kruskol hasn't been able to use the VOIP service arranged recently with TeleBlend for eight days, even though TeleBlend announced that an outage to its 60,000 customers was fixed last Wednesday, Kruskol said today.

In this story as in others the term "VoIP provider" is used as a pejorative wherein the truth is that these failures are management failures not technology failures. SunRocket was an example (albeit public) of the failure of Venture Capitalists and high profile management that fails to deliver. Painting a broad brush over VoIP does not help the consumer.
