We are very excited to have Wendell Odom, CCIE No. 1624, respected Cisco trainer and author as our Author Expert blogger for September. His blog for Cisco Subnet debuts Sept. 4 - watch this space for the URL to his blog.

Wendell splits time between writing books for Cisco Press and teaching classes for Skyline ATS. He's offering us his time to answer all your questions about Cisco certifications, so if you there is anything you want to know about Cisco training please forward me your questions (lleung@nww.com), or reply to this post, and we'll get your questions answered by Wendell.

In his 25-ish years in the networking industry, he has worked as as a pre-sale and post-sale SE for a few networking vendors, as well as a network engineer implementing network technology. Wendell has spent the majority of the last 15 years teaching, consulting, and writing about networking technologies, most of which in some way relate to Cisco products. His books include titles on QoS, CCIE R/S, as well as several titles related to CCNA certification, including the September 2007 book "CCNA Official Exam Certification Library (CCNA Exam 640-802)" (See here for the list of current titles.)

In addition to his blog, we'll be giving away 15 copies the third edition of Wendell's book CCNA Official Exam Certification Library, which will be published Sept. 7, 2007.
