Apple product security more flawed than Microsoft

If you're a devout Mac follower, look away now because you might not like what you see. Larry Dignan over at ZDnet has put all of Apple and Microsoft security alerts of 2007 side-by-side and concluded that Apple had more than 5 times the number of flaws per month than Windows XP and Vista - and most of those flaws are serious, he adds.

He writes:

Also noteworthy is that while Windows Vista shows fewer flaws than Windows XP and has more mitigating factors against exploitation, the addition of Windows Defender and Sidebar added 4 highly critical flaws to Vista that weren’t present in Windows XP.

Who would have thought that Apple would be more flawed than Microsoft?
