Two months ago to the day I posted an item lamenting the fact that Zillow -- the latest rage in real estate sites -- was giving every busybody on the planet a bird's-eye look at what Zillow determines is the value of every house in my neighborhood (and yours).
At the time I thought Zillow was low-balling my 'hood and my house, which was of particular concern because the latter was about to go on the market. … Yesterday we agreed on a price with a buyer.
So how did we do relative to the Zillow Zestimate of March 17?
Almost 10% better, which to be honest is not as much as I had thought they were off by.
