Apple is making its live stream available on Windows for the first time, but only for Windows 10. Here's how to watch it on Android and other versions of Windows.

UPDATE:  It looks like Apple changed the link just before the event started. Scroll down for the updated link.

It seemed surreal to see Apple’s live stream requirements on tomorrow’s live stream event page include the word Windows.

"Requirements: Live streaming uses Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology. HLS requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. Streaming via Apple TV requires a second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later."

You can download VideoLan’s VLC player for Android from the Play Store or VLC for Windows from VideoLan’s website. No viruses were detected with Google’s Virus Total in the Windows versions available when I first wrote this.

Launch VLC Player on Android or Windows and open the media tab.

Here is where you’ll find the media tab in the Android app:
