While Kohl’s might not be the first place you think of for tech deals, the retailer is a holiday shopping magnet that offers an enticing $15 in Kohl’s cash for every fifty bucks spent.

Among the tech deals from the company, which opens its stores at 6PM on Thanksgiving Day:

*A Black Series entertainment projector, which regularly sells for $100, is marked down to $40 for Black Friday. Hook up your TV or gaming system, or pop in a DVD, and project the action up to 10 feet wide on any surface. Weighs just 3 pounds.

*Cute little iHome Bluetooth character speakers for $20 rather than the usual $40. (I’ve personally always had issues with iHome stuff flaking out on me, but you might not be able to go wrong with this price as a stocking stuffer.) Characters include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Disney and Star Wars favorites.

*An HP Deskjet 2545 All-in-One wireless printer for $20, a quarter of the usual price. Ink for it? Well, that’s another matter of course. In-store only on Black Friday, with limited quantities available.

Staples might be a more likely suspect to visit for tech deals, and sure enough, the retailer has plenty of bargains in store for the holiday season. Among them:

* This Toshiba laptop, powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and running Windows 10, has been marked down for Black Friday (starting online on Thanksgiving Day) from $650 to $400. The machine boasts a 15.6-inch screen, 8GB of RAM and a 750GB hard drive.

* An iPad Air 2 will be available for $450, which is $150 off the usual price. Features a 9.7-inch Retina display, 802.11ac WiFi connectivity and 64GB of storage. Other iPad models will also be marked down by up to 25%.

*Netgear Nighthawk X6 Tri-band WiFi routers will be sold for $250, which is $50 off the usual sticker price. Features 6 antennas and up to 3.2Gpbs wireless speed.

Sam’s Club has a bunch of electronics items for sale over Thanksgiving/Black Friday, with the sale starting online Thanksgiving Day and in stores at 7am. Deals include:

*A Vizio 58-inch Class 4K Ultra HD Smart TV for $700 – that’s $300 off the usual price. Free shipping too if you don’t want to lug it from the store.

*$150 off either an iPad Air 2 with 64GB or 128GB of storage, so that would set you back either $440 or $540. Available in store or online, with free shipping.

Target is actually making a couple dozen items available at Black Friday prices for today only (lots of headphones), but has plenty more planned starting on Thanksgiving Day (stores open at 6pm). Here’s a sampling of their deals, which include gift card giveaways with Apple product purchases.

*Westinghouse 55-inch LED HDTV for $250. This TV, with 1080pm resolution, usually goes for $600.

*Apple Watch models that come at 38mm high will be available for purchase at the usual $350 price, but you’ll get a $100 Target gift card. Just make sure that if you’re buying one of these for a gift that the recipient owns an iPhone 5 or newer and is running iOS 9.

*Apple TVs, which currently sell for $149 (32GB) and $199 (64GB) will be 25% off.
